The conference in 2023 will show how the cross-border developments of the hydrogen economy fit into the European framework and how companies based here can actively seize market development opportunities and become active across borders. In addition, municipalities along the border region will present their regional approaches to the use of hydrogen in the context of regional energy systems in best practices.

Together into implementation - this was the motto of the German-Dutch Hydrogen Cross Border Conference, which took place in Leer on 17 May 2022 with over 200 participants.

SAVE THE DATE: 16.-17.09.2021 The two day online event aims to explore synergy and cooperation potentials concerning green shipping and digitalization activities in Germany, Norway and the Netherlands.

The workshop took place online on 08.07.2021 as part of the project Kompetenzzentrum GreenShipping Niedersachsne and in cooperation with the German and Dutch Shipowners' Associations and the project "H2Watt".

Shaping the energy transition across borders - this was the motto of the first German-Dutch Hydrogen Day - the "Hydrogen Cross Border Conference" - which took place online on 5 February 2021 and was attended by around 700 people from business, science and politics.

The use of hydrogen is regarded as key technology of the future in the course of shaping an "energy transition". Currently, there are numerous different projects and initiatives dealing with the introduction of hydrogen or methods for the production, storage, transport and use of hydrogen. However, there has been a lack of consolidation of selective projects into a complete system.
