The H2Watt project is funded within the context of the INTERREG V A programme Germany-Netherlands by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the German federal state of Lower Saxony (Lower Saxony Ministry for Federal and European Affairs and Regional Development) and the Provincial Authorities of Drenthe, Friesland and Groningen in the Netherlands. It is supported by the programme Management INTERREG at the Ems Dollart Region (EDR).
The INTERREG funding programme supports joint German-Dutch projects along the European borders, increases innovative capabilities in the border region and eliminates the barrier effect of the physical border.
